With the EFL season finished and the Premier League nearing its conclusion, transfer talk around Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa is ramping up.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves are leading the chase for Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons after his Rangers loan and earlier stint with Valencia. He looks set to leave this summer, with interest from England, Portugal and Spain, and West Ham, Porto and Villarreal monitoring.

Wolves’ £19m summer signing Lopez spent the second half of the campaign back at his former club in Spain after a frustrating start. His form improved and Celta Vigo have indicated they want him next season. Coach Claudio Giraldez believes a move is possible, noting both club and player want it, though contractual hurdles remain because he belongs to Wolverhampton.

Wolves have also been linked with Tottenham loanee Alfie Devine, 21, who hit eight goals and eight assists for Preston in the Championship last season.

Ex-West Brom forward Reyes Cleary, who turned down a new deal last year, has impressed for Barnsley in League One. Derby, Bristol City, Sheffield United and Hull are lining up to sign him, and Albion could benefit from a sell-on windfall.

Harry Wilson has again been linked with Villa. The Fulham winger is on Unai Emery’s shortlist and, with his contract up this summer, could be available on a free. A return to Dortmund had seemed likely for Jaden Sancho when his Manchester United deal runs down, but Villa want to keep him around for his versatility and he is open to staying in the Midlands.
