INTER WOMEN'S EUROPEAN JOURNEY

Inter Women's European campaign has been one of quality, consistency, and clinical play so far. It all began in September with the first qualifying round against Scottish side Hibernian. The Nerazzurre immediately dominated, winning 4-1 at home thanks to a performance marked by intensity and character. In the return leg in Edinburgh, Inter held onto their advantage with maturity, winning 1-0 and closing the tie 5-1 on aggregate. This result was indicative of both control and sharpness.

In the second qualifying round, Piovani's side turned up the heat even further with a landslide victory over the Albanian side KFF Vllaznia with a record 12-0 on aggregate across both legs. The 7-0 victory at home in Milano demonstrated their attacking prowess and collective play, while the 5-0 win away confirmed the squad's solidity and determination, a team eager to keep impressing.

With four wins from four games, 17 goals scored, and only one conceded, Inter Women have demonstrated that they can compete at the highest level, staying consistent with a clear sense of identity. Looking ahead now to BK Häcken, the pressure increases: focus, courage, and their consistent hunger to perform will prove vital.

THE OPPONENT: BK HÄCKEN FF

Inter Women's European journey now crosses paths with one of the strongest and most prominent teams in Scandinavian women's football: BK Häcken FF, the newly crowned Swedish champions. It's a monumental achievement for the Club from Gothenburg, who have claimed their first national title in history. The decisive moment came during a match early in the season, with a 2-0 win over Djurgården, secured by goals from Tindell and Schröder. This result led Mak Lind's side to the title, giving them a four-point advantage over Hammarby and placing them top of the table.

Häcken won the league with 61 points from 20 wins and one draw in 25 matches. They scored 85 goals and conceded 17, with a goal difference of +68. These statistics demonstrate just how strong this team is as they bring together defensive solidity and attacking strength.
