World Cup 2026: Brazil vs Morocco Lineups – El Aynaoui starts for visitors as Serie A connections rife for Ancelotti | OneFootball

Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil get their World Cup campaign underway, as one of the only Italians in attendance at this summer’s competition looks to get off to a winning start.

The South American giants, who are among the favourites for the competition, face a tough opener against a Morocco side who are, albeit somewhat controversially, AFCON champions.

There are no current Serie A players in Brazil’s starting XI for Brazil vs Morocco.

However, ex-Roma defender Ibañez plays at right-back.

Meanwhile, former Juventus full-backs Alex Sandro and Danilo occupy the bench for Brazil and Alisson features in goal, not long after turning down a move to the Bianconeri in favour of another season at Liverpool.

Juventus defender Bremer is also on the bench for Ancelotti.

On the Morocco side, Roma’s Neil El Aynaoui stars in midfield, whilst Inter and Juventus linked Brahim Diaz plays on the right side of attack.

Former Inter right-back Hakimi captains the North African nation.
