Young Magpies win Premier League U15 International Tournament | OneFootball

The Magpies beat Manchester City in the final on Sunday, with Academy Director Steve Harper saying: "The staff and players did everyone proud. They were magnificent."

Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and PSG were among the teams competing in the tournament, held at Chelsea's Cobham Training Centre.

United knocked the hosts out on penalties at the semi-final stage. They topped Group A, recording victories over Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

"What an incredible achievement from all of the players and staff involved," added Harper. "To emerge as deserved winners in a competition featuring many of the elite youth academies of not only the Premier League but Europe too, reflects a huge amount of effort from every department at the Academy.

"The boys gave absolutely everything in every minute of every game. An enormously proud day for everyone connected to the Academy and football club."
