Morgan Rogers has said England must have a plan for Erling Haaland but has warned that Norway are no one-man team.

England face Norway in the 2026World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday evening with a place in the last four at stake.

The fixture will see England come up against Haaland, who has scored seven goals at the tournament to challenge for the Golden Boot.

Haaland netted both goals as Norway upset Brazil in the Round of 16, and has reaffirmed his standing as one of the world's top players in his first-ever major tournament.

The 25-year-old is well-known to the England squad having starred in thePremier League in recent seasons.

Haaland has scored 162 goals in 198 games forManchester City, and Rogers has admitted its a massive challenge to combat his threat.

Asked if England had a plan to stop Haaland this weekend, Rogers said at apre-game press conference: "Has anyone ever stopped Erling Haaland? I'm not sure they have.

"We're going to try, we're going to have to try. He's such an unbelievable player. The things he does, the numbers he puts up, you're just in awe at how good he is and the level he's at.

"We're going to have to try and stop how they play, and how the balls go into him, and how he's gets his chances because he's so deadly in front of goal. We've got to be aware of that.

"It's not just him, they've got other good players as well that we play against on a regular basis in the Premier League that we need to be mindful of.

"They're a really good team. I think that's what their super strength is, that as a team and unit they're so strong."
