The comprehensive development of top talent remains one of the core pillars of Chivas’ academy. For the upcoming international activity involving age-restricted national teams during the March FIFA window, Chivas’ youth sides will contribute a total of 10 players across various call-ups.
Let’s start with Mexico’s U-20 team, where Guadalajara once again forms the backbone of the squad. Sebastián Liceaga, Cristo Navarrete, Yohan Orozco, Samir Inda, Hugo Camberos, and Santiago Sandoval will work under head coach Alex Diego, with two friendly matches scheduled against Costa Rica at the Mexican Football Federation facilities in Toluca.
There will also be Rojiblanco representation in Mexico’s U-23 side, with Ángel Chávez, Juan Pablo Uribe, and Diego Latorre earning call-ups. They are set to face Pumas’ first team at Cantera, followed by a match against Toluca U-23 at the High Performance Center.
Finally, Cruz Medina has been called up to the United States U-20 national team, where he will play two preparation matches in Argentina.
All of this highlights the outstanding work being done by Chivas’ academy, which continues to focus on developing top-quality footballers with strong human values.
