Zamalek SC kicks off its journey in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage (2025/2026 season) today, Sunday, November 23, hosting Zambia's ZESCO United at Cairo International Stadium.

The Egyptian club is aiming for a flying start to gain an early advantage in Group D, which also features South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs and Egyptian rivals Al Masry from Port Said.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a refereeing team from Djibouti for this fixture.
