Zeli Ismail, the former Wolves winger once courted by Chelsea, has helped JD Cymru Premier club Connahs Quay Nomads secure a Europa Conference League return. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 32-year-old has featured for the North Wales side this season.
Albanian-born and capped by England at youth level, Ismail joined Wolves at nine and made his first-team debut. He previously sampled European football with Newtown a few years ago.
During his time at Molineux he took in a series of loans, making 11 senior appearances for Wolves, before spells with a number of EFL clubs and a move into Welsh football.
A standout in his age group, he was player of the tournament at the Milk Cup in 2008 and part of the England Victory Shield squad. Interest from clubs such as Chelsea followed, but he stayed at Wolves as the club sought to keep his progress out of the spotlight.
He later said he was omitted from some televised games against Manchester United and Liverpool as Wolves tried to shield him from suitors. He added he only wanted to play for Wolves, felt no desire to leave, and appreciated how the club supported his family.
