Zimbabwe announce AFCON squad without key player

Zimbabwe have named their final squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set to be staged in Morocco later this month.
The Warriors are in Group B alongside South Africa, Angola, and record seven-time African champions Egypt, whom they open their campaign against on 22 December.
However, Zimbabwe have been dealt with a major blow as vice captain Marshall Munetsi has been ruled out of the tournament.
The former Orlando Pirates midfielder suffered a calf injury last week Wednesday as he limped off against Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.
Wolves manager Rob Edwards has since confirmed Munetsi is expected to be out of action for around six weeks, which effectively rules him out of contention.
Moreover, Scottland FC forward Walter Musona has also been ruled out of the tournament as he is also injured, while ex-Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has been snubbed from the team.
