Arsenal entertained Sporting CP at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

The North London club struggled to find the winning goal and had to settle for a hard-fought 0-0 draw (1-0 on aggregate) at the Emirates, which was enough for them to secure qualification into the next round of the Champions League.
