A good match back following the International Break for Milan Primavera, who showed personality at the Viola Park, limiting Fiorentina to a draw. The 1-1 result came following two goals in the first half: the home side initially took the lead through Braschi which was then followed by Lorenzo Ossola's fourth goal of the season. There were chances for both teams who couldn't find the extra goal, the Rossoneri had a big chance which fell to Castiello, Bouyer made some big saves while the AC Milan defence held firm. A draw, in the Primavera 1 matchday 12 game, was a fair result. It means that Renna's side move up the table following the unfortunate defeat before the break against Juventus. It was an impressive result against a more experienced side who are in good form. The group passed the test as they showed their ability to react to negative situations and play with a defined style. A good way to open the week which brings, on Sunday 30 at 13:00 CET, the first derby of the season (away to Inter).

MATCH REPORT The home side started well, proving more dangerous in the first 15 minutes of play, and confirmed their superiority on the pitch with the opening goal from Braschi in the 14th minute. AC Milan grew into the game following the goal and raised the tempo: in the 19th minute, Scotti had another chance, while Plazzotta's good piece of play in the 19th minute, saw Perera's effort not managing to threaten the goal. The equaliser was close and scored in the 33rd minute: Plazzotta's cross into the box was met by Ossola who poked it into the goal. Fiorentina then produced a dangerous chance through Kone. AC Milan proved dangerous through Castiello in the 42nd minute, but the half ended all square. The start of the second half was lively. The Viola pushed on with their newly-subbed on player Mazzeo, while the Rossoneri went close to the lead through Scotti in the 57th minute and then Castiello in the 62nd minute. His left-footed shot tested Fei's reflexes with the help of the crossbar. In the 67th minute, however, Bouyer stretched to deny Atzeni's diagonal ball. The Coaches made changes but they did not have much effect. Fiorentina went close to winning, but the Rossoneri were reacted in the latter stages with a great defensive intervention from Mancioppi in the 87th minute: it ended 1-1.
