Michael Olise has developed into a key player at the Allianz Arena following his switch from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024.

According to Sport Bild, his performances have put Europe’s top clubs on alert, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

The report suggests that the financially strong Premier League clubs would “very much like” to spend €100 million on the winger next summer.

Bayern, however, have no intention of selling their star and plan to counter any potential approach by offering Olise a new, more lucrative contract extending beyond 2029.

According to the report, Bayern are planning to offer the French international a two-year contract extension with a salary increase. He currently earns a reported €16 million per year including bonuses.

“He still has over three and a half years on his contract, is becoming an increasingly decisive factor in FC Bayern’s play, and will shape the future of this team – as far as we are concerned: the longer, the better," Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl is quoted as saying.

President Herbert Hainer added:

“He is a face of the new FC Bayern, and we want him to remain so for a long time.”

Club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen even believes Olise could one day lift the Ballon d’Or.

“I am convinced of it. The way Olise has developed and shown himself with us so far, it is absolutely realistic.”
