James McAtee is being monitored by 11 clubs ahead of the January window after a slow start at Nottingham Forest. According to the Daily Mail, interest spans the Premier League and Europe.

The 23-year-old joined from Manchester City in August and has struggled to make an impact. He has 10 appearances in all competitions, with one Premier League start and five outings from the bench.

Chelsea and Leeds United have been identified among potential suitors, with Enzo Maresca still an admirer from his time at City and Leeds seeking a No. 10. The report says both have checked on his situation, while Bournemouth, Fulham and Sunderland are looking at a loan.

Overseas, Stuttgart, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Porto and PSV Eindhoven are also said to be keeping tabs.

Forest are expected to allow some departures next month, but McAtee is unlikely to be among them. Sean Dyche has stressed some signings need time to adapt and that fees should not shape judgment. Forest paid £30 million for McAtee, who was an unused substitute in the 2-1 defeat to former club City on Saturday.

McAtee has acknowledged the challenge, competing with Morgan Gibbs-White for the playmaker role, and says he is staying patient, working to impress and ready to take chances when they come. He accepts he can put pressure on himself, but is focused on enjoying his football and learning.
