These 12 players are set to miss Millwall's battle with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday

Millwall are looking to get back on track after a rather sobering week, losing back-to-back games by an 8-1 aggregate scoreline.

The Lions have conceded eight unanswered goals after going 1-0 up away at Southampton last Saturday. The Saints would go on to win 5-1, before Wrexham left the Den with a 3-0 victory, as Alex Neil's side's injury list grew even further.

Indeed, Millwall's treatment room is pretty busy ahead of their matchup with Bolton Wanderers this Saturday, who are also looking to end the week on a high after losing last weekend against Lincoln City and on Tuesday night in heartbreaking fashion against Sheffield United.

Despite it being so early in the season, Millwall especially have caught the injury bug, and these 12 players are set to miss the clash at the Den.

Casper De Norre

Starting with the latest additions to the treatment room at Millwall, Casper De Norre was forced off just before half-time in their defeat against Wrexham on Wednesday night.

When asked about the injury after the game and whether it was serious, Neil responded, "Casper certainly does."

Josh Coburn was also withdrawn in the 3-0 defeat at the Den, being replaced by Zak Lovelace midway through the second half. It's a massive blow for the Lions, as the 23-year-old netted 10 times in all competitions in his first full campaign at the club last season.

While Alex Neil didn't comment on the severity of the injury, this may be too quick a turnaround to be involved. Luckily enough, attacking duo Tairyk Arconte and Kyrell Lisbie could be back for the game after missing midweek.

Goalkeeper Lukas Jensen hasn't been able to catch a break recently with injuries.

The 27-year-old missed the entirety of last season with an Achilles issue, and after saving all three penalties in their EFL Cup shootout win over QPR and keeping a couple of clean sheets in as many league games, he's on the sidelines again.

Jensen pulled his quad taking a goal kick last week, and will be out for a "considerable period."

Tristan Crama

Tristan Crama is yet to feature this season after undergoing a second ankle surgery in the space of three months.

He spent the majority of pre-season recovering from a separate ankle issue, before going down with a similar injury against Royal Antwerp in a pre-season friendly.

Ryan Leonard started at right-back in place of the injured Crama on the opening day against Bristol City, but has been missing ever since with a hamstring injury he picked up in training.

When asked about the severity of it and when he'd be back, Neil said, "It's not going to be soon."

Luke Cundle is a more recent casualty, having gone down towards the end of the 5-1 thrashing at Southampton last weekend.

The 24-year-old had to be stretched off, with all signs pointing to another lengthy layoff for Alex Neil.

Massimo Luongo

Thankfully for Alex Neil, he'll hopefully have midfield veteran Massimo Luongo back very shortly, as he played his first minutes since rupturing his ACL back in October last year in an under-21s matchup last week.

The former promotion winner with Ipswich Town had his contract extended last month, despite being released by Millwall at the end of last season.

The Lions boss will be eager to get him back involved, but he may be wary of throwing him back into the deep end before he's 100% again.

Alfie Doughty

Alfie Doughty has struggled with injury massively since that impressive sole campaign in the Premier League with Luton Town. He's missed 41 league games over the course of the past two seasons.

The 26-year-old has started this season on the shelf, too, after suffering a hamstring injury midway through August, which will keep him out for at least another couple of weeks.

Mathis Servais

Millwall fans are waiting patiently for Belgian under-21 international Mathis Servais to make his debut for the club, after a hamstring injury suffered in pre-season has sidelined him for the past month.

The 21-year-old picked up two goals and four assists in the Belgian top flight for KV Mechelen last season.

Mihailo Ivanovic

And Mihailo Ivanovic remains on the sidelines after fracturing his metatarsal back in July following his return for pre-season.

Neil played down a return in early September last month, stating that hope was "a little bit optimistic at the time."
