Today marks eight years since Blanca Félix, the eternal number 12 of Chivas Femenil, made her professional debut. On this day in 2017, a figure was born in the Verde Valle goal that would go on to make history for Guadalajara in the Liga MX Femenil.

1. A dream debut: On September 3, 2017, she defended the Rojiblanco goal for the first time in Verde Valle. That afternoon, Chivas thrashed Santos 6-0 and Félix kept a clean sheet, a sign of the unbeatable goalkeeper she would become.

2. First champion with Chivas in the 2017 Apertura: She was a key player in Chivas' first title, when they defeated Pachuca in the final. That championship not only went down in the history of the club, but also in the history of the Liga MX Femenil, as it was the first team to lift the trophy.

3. Historic save in the 2022 Clausura Final: In the second leg against Pachuca, Blanca stopped a shot from Charlyn Corral in the 69th minute that would have tied the series. That save allowed Chivas to be crowned champions for the second time in their history.

4. Nominations for best goalkeeper in the Liga MX Femenil: Félix has been nominated twice for the Liga MX Femenil Golden Ball, recognizing the great work she does between the posts.

5. Semifinal at Estadio Azteca Apertura 2017: In the Semifinal second leg against América, Blanca was key in helping Chivas qualify for the title series. With great saves at Estadio Azteca, she prevented the overall score from tilting in favor of the Azulcremas.

6. Historic defensive record in the 2022 Clausura: Her performances were instrumental in Chivas Femenil setting the best defensive record in the women's league, conceding only six goals in the regular season.

7. A dream campaign: Also in CL22, the Rojiblancas finished the Regular Season undefeated, with 13 wins and 4 draws, with Blanca as the pillar in goal.

8. Call-up to the Mexican National Team (2017): After being crowned champion with Guadalajara in AP17, Blanca received her first call-up to the Senior National Team for the 2018 Central American Games, sharing the call-up with other Rojiblancas such as Tania Morales.

9. 200 games with Chivas Femenil: She became the first player in the club's history to reach this milestone, playing only for the Rebaño, against Rayadas in J17 of CL2024, a game that the Rojiblancas won 0-1.

10. Rojiblanco honors: Blanca has won two league titles (AP17 and CL22) and one Campeón de Campeones (AP21-CL22), establishing herself as one of the most successful players in the history of Chivas Femenil.

11. Leader and role model: On and off the field, Blanca has distinguished herself as a true leader, guiding her teammates with her voice and example.
