Arsenal took control of the North London derby in the early stages.

The Gunners nearly took the lead after just a few minutes as Declan Rice's shot was saved by Guglielmo Vicario.
Things became cagey between the two bitter rivals until Leandro Trossard's deflected strike gave Arsenal the lead on 36 minutes.
Mikel Arteta's side didn't stop there and Eberechi Eze curled into the bottom left corner just five minutes later to hand the Gunners a healthy first-half advantage.
