2 in, 5 out: Barcelona name squad to face Valencia | OneFootball

La Liga champions Barcelona have named their matchday squad for the club’s upcoming meeting with Valencia.

And it features noteworthy inclusions and exclusions alike.

Barcelona are of course set to return to action later today.

After dropping their first points of the campaign at Rayo Vallecano last time out, the Blaugrana will welcome the aforementioned Valencia to Catalunya’s capital, for a La Liga clash.

In efforts towards a return to winning ways, though, Barca will be forced to make do without a number of high-profile stars.

Set to miss out this evening owing to respective injury problems are all of Marc-André ter Stegen, Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, and Lamine Yamal.

On the other hand, both included in Hansi Flick’s matchday setup for the first time this season are summer signing Roony Bardghji, and midfield starlet Marc Bernal.
