Portsmouth have been promoted as champions from Sky Bet League One and will be playing in the Sky Bet Championship 2024/25 season.
After just missing out on the play-offs in 2023, John Mousinhio's side have stormed the league and will be playing Championship football again after finishing on a total of 97 points this season, five clear of second-placed Derby County.
Here, we run you through the tale of a memorable season at Fratton Park.
Portsmouth lost some key starters and squad players in their 22/23 squad after failing to get promoted or qualify for the play-offs, which left them with some holes in the starting eleven to replace.
Reeco Hackett (Lincoln City), Denver Hume (Grimsby Town), Jay Mingi (Colchester United), Clark Robertson (FC Ashdod), Michael Jacobs (Chesterfield FC), Louis Thompson (Stevenage), Kieron Freeman (Oldham Athletic).
Pompey also managed to bring in some new signings which would help them bolster their squad for their promotion push this season. This included strengthening their defence with Connor Shaughnessy, Jack Sparks and goalkeeper Will Norris, who helped them have one of the best defensive records in the division, only conceding 40 goals.
They also brought in some attacking talent, bringing in Callum Lang from Wigan, Christian Saydee from Bournemouth, Kusini Yengi from Western Sydney and Abu Kamara on loan from Norwich, who proved to be one of the signings of the season.

Pompey recorded 28 wins from 46 games, with 13 draws, only losing five times throughout the entire campaign.
They were crowned as champions of League One with two games to go as they beat Barnsley on the 16th April, after coming from behind and scoring two goals in the last ten minutes to confirm their promotion and make them champions.
Striker Colby Bishop was the top scorer for Portsmouth in this title-winning season. The Englishman scored 21 goals in 44 appearances, falling just short of the League One golden boot by two goals, with Charlton Athletic's Alfie May scoring 23.
Paddy Lane also scored over ten goals this season for Pompey, bagging 12. Kusini Yengi was the club's third top scorer in the league, with him putting the ball in the back of the net nine times in his debut season for Portsmouth.
Norwich loanee Abu Kamara was Portsmouth's most creative player, with 10 assists in the league, and Lane also got seven.
Goalkeeper Will Norris started in all 46 games as he played a vital role in Pompey's run to become champions.
Connor Shaughnessy started in 45 of 46 games this season, scoring the goal that officially confirmed promotion against Barnsley. Colby Bishop also played a huge role in making 44 appearances.
Abu Kamara played in all 46 games, although nine appearances came from the bench.
