Algeria will take part in the 14th edition of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AFCON 2026), with the final tournament set to be held in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026.

The "Desert Warriors" will compete in Group A alongside Morocco, Kenya, and Senegal.

Algeria preview

The Algerian team will be making its seventh appearance in the finals of Africa’s premier competition, after participating in 2004, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2024.

Their best performance came in 2024, when they reached the quarterfinals.
