There will be 48 countries in total at the 2026 World Cup finals.
After the latest international fortnight, we now know 28 of them for sure (listed below).
With 20 places still to play for.
England were the first European country to qualify and so far the only one with 15 more UEFA countries still to be confirmed.
The 2026 World Cup takes place across three host nations (USA, Canada and Mexico) from June 11 to July 19 and it will be the biggest yet.
Lasting almost six weeks, the 2026 World Cup finals will see 48 nations taking part, 16 more than in Qatar 2022.
