Group H update in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers

The qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup (Africa Zone) resume this week as the 7th and 8th matchdays kick off across the nine groups. Foot Africa brings you the latest on Group H.
Sitting comfortably at the top with 16 points, Tunisia looks set to secure another spot in the World Cup finals.
Under the guidance of Sami Trabelsi, the Carthage Eagles need to defeat Liberia and/or Equatorial Guinea to maintain their lead.
But they must keep an eye on Namibia, who have two more manageable home fixtures against Malawi and São Tomé and Príncipe.
