The best and worst draws for Senegal at the 2026 World Cup

Senegal will be aiming to go as far as possible in the 2026 World Cup, with the final tournament set to take place in North America.
The Lions will discover their group stage opponents on December 5 during the draw, which will be held at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. starting at 5:00 PM GMT (12:00 PM local time).
The 2021 AFCON champions have been placed in Pot 2, alongside Croatia, Morocco, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Iran, South Korea, Ecuador, Austria, and Australia.
As a reminder, the other pots have been set as follows:
Pot 1: Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, United States, Mexico, Canada.
Pot 3: Norway, Panama, Egypt, Algeria, Scotland, Paraguay, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa.
