Two days after disturbances in Paris on Wednesday night, 22 people remain in extended police custody, including three minors. According to L'Équipe, the detentions follow unrest after PSG sealed their place in the Champions League final.
Of the 86 adults initially held, 11 were referred to prosecutors on Thursday night, with one due to appear in immediate proceedings on Saturday. For adults, 19 custody measures were extended.
Three people received judicial summonses and 49 cases were closed without further action. Among nine minors residing in Paris who were detained, one was referred, three remain in extended custody and five cases were dropped.
Celebrations in the capital were marred by disorder as PSG drew 1-1 in Bavaria against Bayern, having won 5-4 in the first leg. Serious offences included violence against police officers, carrying up to five years in prison and a 15,000 euros fine. Where committed in a group or with a weapon, the penalty rises to 10 years and 150,000 euros.
The Champions League final will see PSG face Arsenal on 30 May in Budapest. Nuñez had expressed concern at what he called a unilateral announcement by Paris mayor Emmanuel Grégoire to set up a fan zone that night.
