Manchester City have finalised their preparations for their matchday five clash in the UEFA Champions League’s league phase against Bayer Leverkusen.

Pep Guardiola and his players come into the contest looking to maintain their unbeaten streak in European competition this season, having won three and drawn one of their opening four league phase encounters so far.

The Catalan coach will be much more familiar with the necessary points target to automatically qualify for the last-16 of the competition this time around having failed to do so in last season’s edition of the tournament.

City do come into this fixture off the back of a problematic showing against Newcastle United, conceding twice to Harvey Barnes in a 2-1 defeat at St James’ Park, falling seven points behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.

As such, action in Europe may come as a welcome break from the intensity of the English calendar, and an opportunity for Manchester City to get back to winning ways and take another giant stride towards the knockout rounds of the competition.

Now, as City finalise their preparations for matchday five of their league phase adventure in the latest edition of the UEFA Champions League, here is the complete list of players spotted on the City Football Academy pitches from the first 15 minutes of the session!
