Manchester City have now finalised their preparations for their matchday six clash in the UEFA Champions League’s league phase away at Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola and his players travel to the Spanish capital this week, looking to make amends for their hugely disappointing result last time out in European competition at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen.

The German outfit were able to capitalise in 10 changes made by Guardiola ahead of the contest by defeating Manchester City 0-2, and leaving the Premier League side needing wins from their final three matches to ensure automatic progression.

City do come into this fixture full of confidence having recorded a succession of Premier League wins, with the most recent coming against the division’s high-flyers in Sunderland via a 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium.

As for their opponents Real Madrid, the Bernabeu side are in a period of huge uncertainty amid a real threat of head coach Xabi Alonso being sacked should they fall to defeat against Manchester City this week.

Los Blancos come into the fixture with a whole variety of fitness and injury problems, particularly in defence as Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all absent, having also lost last time out 0-2 at home to Celta Vigo.

Now, as City finalise their preparations for matchday six of their league phase adventure in the latest edition of the UEFA Champions League, here is the complete list of players spotted on the City Football Academy pitches from the first 15 minutes of the session!
