Davie Hamilton scored
ONE – SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER 1902 – Played in heavy rain throughout (conditions were “the reverse of pleasant” in the quaint description of The Dundee Courier ) the game between Celtic and Dundee at Parkhead was nevertheless a good game with Dundee possibly the better team in this 2-2 draw which entertained 7,000 drenched spectators. Willie Loney and Davie Hamilton scored Celtic’s goals.

TWO – SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER 1924 – This Celtic team seems to be going nowhere. Today they lose at home 1-2 to Partick Thistle with only Patsy Gallacher showing any entitlement to wear the green and white jersey. Alec Thomson scores Celtic’s only goal, but there was a lack of cohesion and any real class throughout. In the stand, ex-Celts Jimmy Quinn and Jimmy McMenemy sit and shake their heads.

Jimmy Delaney
THREE – SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER 1941 – Incredibly, for the second week in a row Celtic draw 4-4. This time the game is against Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill. Two goals come from Jimmy Delaney, one from Matt Lynch and one from Frank Murphy, who is sent off near the end by referee MC Dale, (a man reputed to have a problem with alcohol).

Harry Hood
FOUR – SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER 1969 – On a day which saw a few games off in both Scotland and England, Celtic travelled to Greenock to find a bone hard sand covered, but playable pitch at Cappielow. Lou Macari opened the scoring to the delight of the Celtic fans in the 20,000 crowd, but Morton resisted hard, and it was not until the last ten minutes that goals from Harry Hood and Willie Wallace saw Celtic home with a 3-0 victory.

Henrik Larsson
FIVE – SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER 2003 – Celtic win their 13th SPL game in a row with a regulation 3-1 win over Partick Thistle before 58,194 fans in heavy, incessant rain at Celtic Park. But they are shocked by an early James Grady goal for Partick Thistle before Henrik Larsson scores once and Chris Sutton twice.
