Millennium Square in Leeds rode a wave of emotion as England exited the World Cup in a semi-final against Argentina in Atlanta.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the city centre fan zone swung from celebration to shock as the match turned late on.

Anthony Gordon put England ahead 10 minutes into the second half, sparking huge celebrations.
Enzo Fernandez equalised on 85 minutes.
Lautaro Martinez then struck in the 92nd minute to put Argentina in front.
Frustration followed as England’s World Cup dream ended. Argentina will face Spain in the final at the weekend, and a photographer captured the full range of emotions in Leeds tonight.
