Leeds United, two points above the relegation zone, are assessing January options, with the 49ers exploring a move to bring Manor Solomon back to Elland Road, according to Sportsboom.

Daniel Farke has averaged a point per game after 15 matches, a pace that would typically secure safety. With a thin squad and injury-prone players such as Lukas Nmecha, fresh cover is being considered. January can be tricky for bedding in, but Solomon would be a familiar fit.

Solomon impressed on loan under Farke last season, delivering 10 goals and 12 assists in 39 outings as Leeds won the Championship, sealing the title with a late winner at Plymouth. The BBC reported Leeds passed on a permanent deal in the summer due to injury concerns.

Sportsboom add that Leeds are open to another loan, with the Villarreal No.6 said to be unsettled in Spain and keen on a different club for the second half of the season. He has 10 appearances this term across competitions, seven as a substitute.

Leeds are also considering Chelsea’s Tyrique George, who is described as the priority ahead of Solomon. The Israel international, previously looked at by Crystal Palace, called Leeds a massive club on arrival last year and expressed strong affection in his farewell message.
