EXCLUSIVE!! Chelsea looking at shock move for Manchester United defender!!

As we approach the January transfer window now in around five weeks time, there is a lot of rumours and talk going around about what business Chelsea may or may not to, and there are some key points to go through.

Chelsea will not be busy

First and foremost, The Athletic state that Chelsea are not planning to add to the 1st team squad in January, with the focus being more on the summer. The club could still put a deal in place for a young player in the new year (or the summer), in view of them joining in future seasons as they have done in the past.

Nottingham Forest defender Murillo.

No Murillo

The report claims that Chelsea have held a long-standing interest in Murillo, but he is considered at the starter level, so is not on their radar. The focus is more on succession planning and players for the future.

George could stay?

Chelsea have apparently not made a decision on whether to sell Tyrique George, but clubs may try to lure him away with the promise of more first-team minutes.

Rogers interest ends

They say Chelsea’s long-standing interest in Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa has cooled.

Disasi back in?

Axel Disasi has begun training again with the 1st team recently and also played for the U-21s against Reading in November.

But this is not due to him being reintegrated into Enzo Maresca’s first team squad apparently, it is to ensure he is fully fit to make a move.
