Marseille vs PSG

Le Classique returns this weekend as Marseille meet Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. Roberto De Zerbi’s side finished as runners-up last season but have endured a mixed start to 2025/26, with two defeats in four games.

Confidence will be taken from pushing Real Madrid close in their Champions League return in midweek, though Marseille must try and stop a Parisian juggernaut this weekend. PSG have a perfect record this season and waltzed past Atalanta (4-0) on Wednesday night.

Manchester United vs Chelsea

A fixture that lacks the prestige of past Premier League campaigns but a battle between two of English football’s biggest nonetheless.

The pressure on Ruben Amorim is becoming untenable, as Manchester United bounce from one disappointment to the next.

Last weekend’s derby humbling has heaped more scrutiny on Amorim, who is failing to get a tune from his squad. Chelsea will start as favourites, despite a midweek defeat at Bayern Munich.

The Merseyside derby takes place on Saturday lunchtime as a city stops to watch. It’s been a fairly one-sided fixture in recent years, with Everton having won just one Premier League game at Anfield since 1999.

Lazio and Roma meet for the Derby della Capitale on Sunday.

The capital clubs face off at their shared Stadio Olimpico home, each looking to respond to Serie A defeats last time out.

Lazio and Roma finished just four points apart last season with this a rivalry that’s evenly matched. The winners will take momentum into their European push, while the losers will have ground to make up.

Arsenal vs Manchester City

Arsenal and Manchester City go head-to-head in the latest instalment of their very modern rivalry.
