We’ve got five massive games from England, Italy and Germany you need to watch on the television this weekend.
This is a fascinating matchup between the Italian football royalty and the new upstarts backed by a rich benefactor. Inter Milan are on course to win their 38th Scudetto this season, while Como are making an unlikely charge at Champions League qualification.
Como, though, have never scored a goal against Inter in a competitive match and will come into this tie as the clear underdogs. But they also arrive in much better form, on an eight-match unbeaten run that includes a win at Juventus, and boast the best defensive record in Serie A. The Nerazzurri, meanwhile, have stuttered in recent weeks, so this might be the perfect opportunity to land an historic blow.
Kick-off: 7.45pm BST, Sunday 12th April
Where to watch: TNT Sports 1, Discovery+
These two fanbases consider themselves the biggest in the Midlands, so this derby tends to bring out the fireworks. Both clubs have a lot to fight for, but at different ends of the spectrum. Nottingham Forest are looking to avoid the drop, while Villa are trying to stay in the top four.
The Tricky Trees haven’t lost to the Villans since returning to the Premier League in 2022 and they will be desperate to maintain that record while aiding their survival bid. This might be a good time to face Unai Emery’s men, who have only won one of their last five league outings. ironically, that came against 18th-placed West Ham, so they did their rivals a favour.
Kick-off: 2pm BST, Sunday 12th April

Two of the biggest clubs in Germany clash in the Bundesliga this weekend as Borussia Dortmund Dortmund host Bayer Leverkusen. The former have maintained their status as the second best team in the country, while the latter have endured a difficult campaign. Kasper Hjulmand’s side will be hoping for a strong finish so they can sneak back into the top four and qualify for the Champions League again.
This game should provide excitement; their last 22 meetings have produced an average of 3.9 goals per game, while Leverkusen have scored 23 goals in their last four league matches – averaging 5.75 per game.

The Premier League run-in begins this weekend and what a way to kick it off. Manchester City travel to Chelsea on Super Sunday as they bid to reel in leaders Arsenal. The Gunners host Bournemouth the day beforehand, so the result of that could have a big impact on the psychology of Pep Guardiola’s men.
An Arsenal win means there will be 12 points between them, but a defeat means City could narrow the gap to just six points with a game in hand. And then the two clubs face off next week in what could be a title decider. But victory at Stamford Bridge is an absolute must first of all.
Chelsea are in desperate need of a positive result to get their top five chances a much needed boost. Their only wins in their last six matches have come against lower league opposition. Liam Rosenior, however, has already hamstrung himself by suspending vice-captain Enzo Fernandez.
Kick-off: 4.30pm BST, Sunday 12th April

Not much needs to be said about this one. This is a massive rivalry between two clubs whose supporters absolutely despise each other.
Manchester United have been on a great run since Michael Carrick took the hot seat, but Leeds United are on a high after reaching the FA Cup semi-finals. The Whites have not beaten the Red Devils in 16 years, but victory at Old Trafford would be the sweetest of the season.
Kick-off: 8pm, Monday 13th April
