FC Barcelona are going to see several changes in their team before the current summer transfer window ends. Players like Nico Williams and Mikel Merino are strongly linked with the Catalan club as the Blaugranes look to strengthen their ranks for the next season.

However, as the Catalan club does not have the required funds or salary space to incorporate these new arrivals, they will also have to oversee several departures.

The Brazilian winger Raphinha is one of the players who has the highest demand in the market, and thus, he looked like a reasonable option for the Catalans to be sold to generate the required funds.

Clubs from the Premier League and the Saudi Pro League have made their approaches to get the winger, with Al-Hilal showing the most interest in him.

But judging from a recent social media interaction between the player and the club, it looks like the Brazilian is going to remain at Barcelona for the next season as well.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, the Catalan club shared a picture of the winger at the second anniversary of his unveiling as a Barcelona player with the text “two years of Rapha”. This picture was reshared by Raphniha, along with the text that said “And we are going for the third”.

Thus, Raphinha, who is on vacation after seeing his Brazil team getting eliminated from the 2024 Copa America at the quarter-final stage, has closed the door on any potential sale this summer.

Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds United two years ago for €57 million fixed and another €8 million in variables. His two seasons at the Catalan club have been rather okay, but the rise of Lamine Yamal and the possible acquisition of Nico Williams
