A hefty seven members of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona have been called up to the latest Spanish national team squad.
One other member of Hansi Flick’s ranks, though, has been overlooked once more…
Spain are primed to return to action next month, as part of the September international break.
A pair of fixtures lie in store for the reigning European champions, in the form of World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria and Turkey respectively.
On Friday, Luis de la Fuente, in turn, named his latest squad of players for the double-header.
And as expected, featuring front and centre were a host of players from reigning Spanish champions Barcelona.
Called up by La Roja once more are all of Pau Cubarsí, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín López, Ferran Torres, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal.
No doubt frustrated with his latest omission, though, is first-choice Blaugrana left-back Alejandro Balde.
There is also no room for either Eric García, or Joan García.
