After a short break, EURO 2024 roars back into life this weekend with four knockout clashes, beginning as Italy and Switzerland lock horns in Berlin.

An injury time equaliser from Germany ensured the Swiss finished second to their opponentes in Group A , but they are unbeaten in their last seven games, winning one and drawing two of their group games.

Italy also finished as runners up in their group, but needed a 98th minute equaliser against Croatia to book their place in the knockout stages.

From that game, Luciano Spalletti has made 6 changes, with the impressive Riccardo Calafiori suspended after being booked twice in three games.

Federico DiMarco is also out injured, so Gianluca Mancini and Matteo Darmian come into defence, while there is also a shakeup in midfield with Nicolo Fagioli and Bryan Cristante replacing Jorginho and Pellegrini.

Further forward, Federico Chiesa and Stephan El Shaarawy flank Gianluca Scamacca.

Switzerland have kept things far more simple, with Silvan Widmer missing out through suspension their only change from the side that drew with Germany and being replaced by Ruben Vargas.
