Marcus Rashford has completed a loan move to Barcelona from Manchester United.
The Spanish club will also have an option to buy the forward at the end of his loan spell for a fee believed to be around £26m.
“I’m very excited,” Rashford told Barcelona after signing.
“I think it’s a club where people’s dreams come true and they win big prizes, and what the club stands for really means a lot to me as well so it feels like I’m at home and that was a big factor in my choice to come here because for me it’s a family club, people are comfortable here and it’s a good place for good players to showcase their skills.
“I like good football so I’ve always been a fan of watching Barcelona from a young age like most football fans.
“It’s going to be a joy for me to play here and I’m going to enjoy every minute of it.
“I’m full of hunger to go out and help this team win. They won so much last year and the ambition of the club is to do better than last year and for a player that’s what you want to hear because it keeps you improving year on year and that’s what you need to be the best version of yourself.
“It’s a different environment for me but I’m enjoying every minute of it and it feels like home.”
Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa having fallen out of favour at United under boss Ruben Amorim, scoring four goals and notching five assists for the midlands club.
Since making his debut for Man Utd back in 2016, the 27-year-old has played 426 times for the club and scored 138 goals.
He has also played 62 times for England, scoring 17 goals. His last appearance for the Three Lions came back in March against Latvia.
Rashford also credited Barca boss Hansi Flick with his decision to join Barcelona, continuing: “He’s another key factor in the reason why I’m here.
“The conversations I had with him were very positive. What he did last season was terrific but not just last year, in his career I think he’s proved he’s one of the top coaches.
“To lead such a young team to a very successful season and to come back to pre-season and still want to do more, it showed me everything I thought I knew about the club but now to be here, it’s everything that I wished and thought.
“I’m eager to get going and keep learning the Barcelona way as I go.”
