Dortmund survive scare to seal second

Borussia Dortmund secured a second place finish with a victory over already relegated Greuther Fürth.

Julian Brandt gave BVB a first half lead but they were pegged back by a nice finish from Jessic Ngamkam in the second.

But with the next attack Brandt emphatically bagged his second to put the visitors back in front, but Felix Passlack sealed the win.

Leverkusen battle back to secure Champions League place

Bayer Leverkusen officially clinched a top four finish after they came from behind to win at Hoffenheim.

Two goals inside three second half minutes from Moussa Diaby and Patrick Schick meant Gerardo Seone’s side will be playing Champions League football next season.

Köln in Europe despite shock defeat at home to Wolfsburg

Köln sealed a place in European competition next season despite defeat at home to Wolfsburg.

A goal from Wolfsburg’s Yannick Gerhardt just before half-time proved to be the winner, but Hoffenheim’s defeat to Leverkusen means Steffen Baumgart’s side confirmed their place in next season’s Europa Conference League anyway.

Union Berlin stun Champions League-chasing Freiburg

SC Freiburg’s Champions League dream is in jeopardy after they were stunned by Union Berlin.

Union found themselves 3-0 up at half-time at the Europa-Park Stadion, and Freiburg were unable to mount a comeback despite Lucas Höler’s second half goal.

That result leaves Freiburg just one point ahead of Leipzig, while Union are two points ahead of Köln in sixth place and will be playing European football again next season in at least the Europa Conference League.

Seventh-placed Köln travel to face relegation-battling Stuttgart on the final day, while Union are at home to Bochum.
