England look primed to secure guaranteed promotion back to Nations League A as the Three Lions currently hold a 3-0 lead against Ireland at Wembley.

After a stale first half of action in the capital, a second booking for Liam Scales after bringing down Jude Bellingham in the box put Ireland down to ten men, and England capitalized ruthlessly.

First, Harry Kane converted from the spot on his return to the XI to put the home side in front, but then Newcastle's Anthony Gordon would secure a night to remember when he scored his first international goal.

The speedy winger did well to sweep home a close-range effort past Caoimhin Kelleher after Tino Livramento's ball into the box deflected into his path.

Conor Gallagher extended the lead further just two minutes later to put England out of sight, also opening his England account with a back post finish after turning home Marc Guehi's header.

Substitute Jarrod Bowen got in on the action to also score a first for his country just seconds after coming into the match, slamming home a half-volley from inside the box.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis would unbelievably achieve the same to bag a first senior goal on his debut after being introduced to replace Kyle Walker.

After a little malaise in opening 45, England have certainly woken up!
