With a roster that blends experience and Cantera Rojiblanca talent, Chivas are ready to face a new edition of el Clásico Tapatío in Los Angeles, set to take place this Sunday, March 29 at BMO Stadium as part of the Tour Rebaño 2026. Gabriel Milito has called up 22 players for this matchup, in which he will look to deliver another strong performance and give back to the Chivahermanos in SoCal, who sold out the venue. With that, el Carnaval Rojiblanco is guaranteed in the stands. What’s new in the squad? • Luis Romo has been included in the roster and traveled with the team to California. • The strong form of Tapatío in Liga de Expansión caught the attention of the rojiblanco head coach, who called up Sergio Aguayo, Leonardo Jiménez and Daniel Villaseca. • Hugo Mata, from the Sub 21 side, also received his call-up to the First Team for this match. • It’s worth noting that Chivas contributed five players to the Selección Mexicana during this Fecha FIFA: Raúl Rangel, Richard Ledezma, Brian Gutiérrez, Roberto Alvarado and Armando González. • In addition, Hugo Camberos and Santiago Sandoval were included in the Tricolor U-20 training camp.
