Bundesliga returns at Austria Klagenfurt

The Austrian Bundesliga is to return after the winter break in the same way it ended - with a match against SK Austria Klagenfurt. We left off before Christmas with a 3-0 win against them - a result we would love to repeat.

Plenty has happened since then at both clubs. We will be guided into a Bundesliga match for the first time by Thomas Letsch, while our new signings are also in the starting blocks. The opponents have also made a few headlines during the transfer window with our former player Martin Hinteregger set to make a dramatic return to the professional game after joining Peter Pacult's side. I am looking forward to our first Bundesliga match of the year in Klagenfurt. I am sure we are ready! In our current situation, we have to work hard for every success. If we think our individual quality is going to make it easy, we have a problem. We have to know that we will only get out of this situation if we put in everything we have, work as a team and carry out the plan we are all convinced of for a full 90 minutes.

Thomas Letsch

Getting three points in the first league match of the year would be extremely important, and we have prepared for the clash against Klagenfurt accordingly. As it is their first match of the new year, it is difficult to know what to expect of them. That makes it even more important to focus on our own performance and our football, while giving everything to take a win.
