Aaron Ramsey retires, former Arsenal and Juventus midfielder ends career aged 35

Aaron Ramsey has retired from professional football at 35, the Football Association of Wales said in a statement.
He described the decision as difficult and thanked every club he represented, along with the coaches and staff who helped him play at the highest level.
Raised at Cardiff and made in Arsenal colours, he became an influential Premier League midfielder. He later joined Juventus, winning Serie A.
His senior career spanned more than 15 years at the top level. He also spent 2022-2023 with OGC Nice, making 34 appearances and scoring one goal.
For Wales he earned more than 80 caps. He is closely linked with Euro 2016, when the Dragons reached the semi-finals before losing 0-2 to Portugal.
