Leeds took the lead in the 28th minute when Justin struck to give the visitors the lead, but Everton levelled late on as Thierno Barry found the net in the 76th minute to ensure the points were shared.

Deployed in an advanced midfield role, Aaronson set the tone with his energy and pressing, playing 85 minutes before being replaced by Noah Okafor.

The American’s all-action display was reflected in the statistics. He recorded 50 touches and completed 23 passes, while carrying the ball 19 times for a total distance of 216.1 metres. Aaronson also registered one shot and one key pass, while contributing defensively with six recoveries, five duels won, two tackles, and two clearances.

It was a performance built on intensity, movement and commitment - qualities Leeds supporters clearly valued, as Aaronson narrowly claimed Player of the Match honours after a tightly contested encounter on Merseyside.
