Aaronson Gets 8.5, Rodon With 8 | Leeds United Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs West Ham United

Leeds United welcomed West Ham United at Elland Road earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a great start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the third minute thanks to Brenden Aaronson’s effort. Joe Rodon doubled Leeds’ advantage in the 15th minute when he got his name on the scoresheet. Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Mateus Fernandes got a goal back for the Hammers in the 90th minute, but Leeds United ended up earning a hard-fought 2-1 win at Elland Road.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Hammers.
He made a couple of solid saves at the back, but won’t be pleased after conceding a late goal.
RB: Jayden Bogle – 7/10
Bogle performed his defensive duties well and was lively going forward.
CB: Joe Rodon – 8/10
He cleared the danger when he could and was good on the ball. He deserves credit for doubling Leeds’ advantage in the 15th minute.
CB: Jaka Bijol – 7.5/10
Bijol was a rock at the back and made one good chance in the opponent’s half.

LB: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 7/10
He earned the ball back twice and was replaced in the 43rd minute.
CM: Sean Longstaff – 7.5/10
Longstaff got stuck in with some solid tackles and ended the game with an assist to his name.
CM: Ethan Ampadu – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
CM: Ao Tanaka – 6.5/10
Tanaka earned possession back once for his team at the centre of the park, but offered very little going forward.
RW: Brenden Aaronson – 8.5/10
He did well to score early in the game and was a constant menace in the final third.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6.5/10
Calvert-Lewin caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him.
LW: Noah Okafor – 6.5/10
He manged to shine at times in the first half and was replaced at half-time.

He kept things solid at the back.

Harrison was not shy of having a strike at goal.
