Michael Olise is currently one of the most sought-after attacking players in Europe – and Liverpool FC in particular are working flat out to sign the Bayern star. According to the latest reports, a record transfer fee could even be on the cards.

The development of Michael Olise is being followed with great interest throughout European soccer. The 23-year-old is playing an absolutely world-class season at FC Bayern, is also shining in the national team and has long been regarded as one of the most dangerous right wingers of his generation. The fact that big clubs are queuing up is no surprise to anyone.

Olise as Salah’s successor?

According to the transfer portal Fichajes, the name Olise is being mentioned particularly frequently at Anfield Road at the moment. Liverpool are working on a long-term solution for the time after Mohamed Salah – and would ideally like to have his successor in the squad early on before the Egyptian leaves the club.

Olise is regarded internally as a top candidate. Performance, potential, age – everything fits. The Reds are convinced that the Frenchman could both shape the present and lead the upcoming transition. His profile is similar to that of Salah: goal-scoring, creative, technically outstanding, decisive.

Those responsible at Liverpool are said to see Olise as a player „who can carry and shape the offense“ – a key building block for the future.

But one problem remains: FC Bayern considers its star winger to be unsellable.

In Munich, the situation is clear: Olise is too important, too rare, too special. Internal voices describe him as a player „whose level can only be reached by a few in Europe“. Therefore: a sale is not an issue.

But – and this „but“ could be decisive – a truly exceptional offer would at least trigger discussions. And that’s exactly what Liverpool FC are apparently planning.

English media are reporting that the Reds are prepared to pay up to 200 million euros for Olise, an amount that would significantly exceed the club’s highest transfer fee to date. Internally, they are said to already be working on corresponding salary structures, role profiles and integration plans.

The idea is that Olise will not just replace Salah – he will become the new face of Liverpool’s transformation. A €200 million deal would be one of the biggest transfers in soccer history and would be so high that even FC Bayern would find it hard to ignore.

How realistic is a deal?

The fact is: Bayern want to keep Olise. The Frenchman feels at home, performs outstandingly, is hard to replace both in sporting and strategic terms. Munich are even considering an early contract extension.

At the same time, it is clear that English clubs regularly break boundaries with mega-transfers that do not exist in the Bundesliga. An offer above the 150 million mark could at least make Bayern bosses think – even if the clear line remains: Olise is not for sale.
