AC Milan have made a bid worth around €40m for PSG striker Gonçalo Ramos, a figure short of the French club’s expectations. According to A Bola, the Rossoneri moved first with the offer.

Ramos is seeking greater minutes after a season in which Luis Enrique repeatedly said he deserved more game time. PSG are open to listening to proposals for him, as with Kang-In Lee, provided the terms make financial sense.

The bid sits below PSG’s expectations, as the club paid €65m to trigger his purchase option from Benfica in August 2023.

Not qualified for next season’s Champions League, Milan are thought to have made Ramos their priority and can offer the central role he seeks.

Despite 12 goals in all competitions last season, he was largely used from the bench, with only 13 Ligue 1 starts and 6 league goals. He did not start in the Champions League, where he scored 2.

Milan also face competition from Atlético Madrid, who are pushing hard for Kang-In Lee and are monitoring Ramos’s situation.
