AC Milan make contact with Midtjylland talent Gustav Isaksen | OneFootball

AC Milan have reportedly added Midtjylland’s talented forward Gustav Isaksen to their list of potential summer targets.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri have initiated contact with the Danish forward, who caught the attention with his performances in Europa League last season.

The 21-year-old had a memorable campaign, bagging 22 goals and nine assists for Midtjylland.

Milan have been scouring the transfer market for a right winger as Stefano Pioli looks for more quality and depth in the position.

Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has been earmarked as a potential summer target.

However, the negotiations are proving difficult for Milan due to the Spanish club being adamant about their valuation of more than €30 million.

Milan have turned their attention towards Isaksen as an alternative target if Chukwueze’s deal fails to materialise.

Isaksen predominantly operates as a right winger but is equally good at playing on the left flank and as a centre-forward.

Milan are set to welcome Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic to the San Siro, with his medical tests scheduled for today.

Despite losing Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United this summer, Milan have strengthened their squad with the additions of Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Luka Romero.

AZ Alkmaar midfielder Tijjani Reijnders remains a priority target, with Rossoneri recently improving their offer to €25 million to get the deal over the line.

Signing a centre-forward is a priority, with Mehdi Taremi, Folarin Balogun, Jonathan David and Noah Okofar on Milan’s wishlist.
