AC Milan have put Javi Guerra back on their wishlist for this summer, Gazzetta suggests, as the club plan a midfield overhaul.
The Valencia midfielder endured an underwhelming season, yet his quality continues to attract elite interest.
The Italian side are set to move on from Fofana and Loftus-Cheek, leaving two spots, while they await Luka Modric's decision.
Milan intend to sign Leon Goretzka and also want a box-to-box midfielder with composure on the ball.
Guerra fits that brief, thriving when he can drive into space and arrive in the box from deep, rather than acting as an attacking midfielder or primary organiser.
Ismael Koné is another option for that role.
After Guerra extended his Valencia deal to 2029 last summer, any move would require a significant offer to prise the player from Gilet away from Mestalla.
