The visitors are aiming to respond after suffering their first league loss in six months, while the home side is desperate for points in their fight against relegation.
Milan are second in the standings with 54 points from 26 games and, although they trail Inter, they remain firmly focused on locking in a Champions League place.
Milan’s injury picture is better than it was earlier in the season, but a few important names are still missing.
Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez is still following his recovery programme after undergoing surgery in December 2025, and he is continuing his rehab away from full match action for now.
The biggest setback for the Rossoneri is the loss of Ruben Loftus‑Cheek, who picked up a serious facial injury during the 1–0 defeat to Parma on 22 February and has been ruled out for several weeks.
Defender Matteo Gabbia is also unavailable as he has yet to shake off his own injury problem.
There is good news in attack, though, with both Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic fit and ready to feature. Allegri has praised his forward options, explaining that all four attackers are in good condition and stressing that whoever starts and whoever comes off the bench will be important, adding that Pulisic has taken a clear step forward both physically and mentally.
Possible AC Milan starting XI: Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Jashari, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Pulisic, Leao
The match will kick off at 11:30am BST on Sunday, 1st March.
