Adam Daghim is leaving FC Red Bull Salzburg for the German Bundesliga and signing for Hoffenheim.
The 20-year-old Danish striker joined us in Salzburg from Aarhus in the summer of 2023. As a co-operation player with FC Liefering, he gained his first experience there, scoring six goals and providing six assists in 22 appearances. The Dane also played for us in the UEFA Youth League, making seven appearances (four goals and two assists).
He then made the move to our Red Bulls, where he contributed six goals and five assists in 57 matches.
Last season, Daghim was on loan at German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg (30 appearances, two goals and four assists).
After returning from his loan spell at Wolfsburg, Adam made it clear to us that a move to one of Europe's top leagues was his priority. This proved to be the best and most sensible solution for us as well, resulting in this lucrative transfer to TSG Hoffenheim. We are delighted that another FC Red Bull Salzburg player has made this move and wish Adam every success in his future career!
Marcus Mann, Managing Director for Sport
My time at FC Red Bull Salzburg was exciting and very educational. I came to a new country and a new league as a very young player, where I had a lot to learn. I think I did well overall and developed well, for which I am very grateful to the club, all the staff and the fans. The next chapter of my career has now begun, but I will always look back fondly on my time in Salzburg.
