According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayer Leverkusen forward Adam Hložek is set to leave the club.
It had recently been reported that the 22-year-old was a target for VfB Stuttgart this summer; however, the Bundesliga runners-up were able to secure a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion in order to sign Deniz Undav on a permanent basis.
Nevertheless, there is still a chance that Hložek will depart the BayArena before the end of the transfer window.
It is understood that Die Werkself have been in talks with a number of Premier League clubs who are looking to sign the forward.
Hložek is still under contract with Leverkusen until 2027, meaning that the German champions will be able to demand a lucrative fee for his services.
It is believed that Hložek is valued between €17 and €18 million.
A decision on his future is expected to be made soon, but as it stands, the Czech Republic international is bound to play in the Premier League next season.
