Adel Boulbina ‘to join’ Al-Diriyah as Malcom replacement in Saudi Roshn League | OneFootball

Adel Boulbina is closing in on a move to Al-Diriyah in the Saudi Roshn League as cover for Malcom. Al-Riyadiah reports that the Al-Duhail winger is undergoing a medical to finalise the switch.

Al-Diriyah turned to the Algerian after Malcom’s transfer from Al-Hilal collapsed. The Brazilian is now close to joining Emirati side Al-Jazira.

Newly promoted to the Roshn League, Al-Diriyah opted for Boulbina after his standout displays for Al-Duhail last season in the Qatari league and the AFC Champions League Elite.

The 23-year-old made 32 appearances for the Qatari club last term, scoring 13 goals and supplying seven assists.

He was close to joining Zamalek in January 2025 while at Paradou, but the deal fell through at the final moment. He moved to Al-Duhail the following summer instead.

Internationally, Boulbina featured for Algeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup. Across 13 matches, he scored five and made three.
